Hi, I’m Lacey Criswell, director, photographer and founder of HUNT + CAPTURE.

As a creative and founder, I place value on collaboration and inclusivity. My method is to create environments where our subjects, talent, and clients are supported. Allowing H + C to capture compelling and personal narratives.

My personal story informs my method. Growing up I attended eight schools by the time I was 13. As a frequent outsider looking in, I developed careful observation skills and a talent to forge social connections. These ‘new girl’ survival skills are a huge asset. I connect my personal curiosity and my chemistry with others to forge my creative practice, sculpting my visual voice.

It’s important to me that H + C takes a narrative approach towards every project. I want the work to find the roots of people and our connections to the world we live in.
